We were so lucky to have received a grant that allowed us to purchase new mentor texts to help use learn to write like famous authors (and learn grammar too). We love having a brand new story to read each week, and then the fun begins when we get to study the mentor sentence and try to create our own! We have learned so much from this activity and it is truly one of our favorite parts of the day!
